TODAY’S OBJECTIVES
Daily Vitamin: Recognizing pride before it costs you more.
Inspirational Story: How to move forward with real courage
Verse of the Day: Galatians 6:2
DAILY VITAMIN
Recognizing pride before it costs you more.
Pride rarely announces itself loudly. It works through small justifications, convincing you that staying is strength, when your soul has quietly known for months that something needs to change and the truth is asking for your cooperation.
Pray for the courage to see yourself clearly today.
Write down one decision you have delayed out of pride.
Ask one trusted person what they honestly observe in you.
INSPIRATIONAL STORY
Let Go and Level Up
You’ve been staring at the same decision for months.
You know it’s not working.
Your gut knows. Your sleep knows.
But you keep showing up anyway, telling yourself consistency is the same as courage.
It isn’t.
Pride moves quietly.
It doesn’t take everything at once.
It just whispers that admitting you’re wrong means you’ve failed.
So you stay planted in soil that stopped feeding you a long time ago.
But pride makes you negotiate with it.
It tells you that pivoting is quitting, that course-correcting is weakness dressed up as humility.
So you hold the position.
You defend the strategy.
You protect the version of yourself that no longer fits where you’re headed.
Meanwhile, the next season is waiting.
Letting go is one of the hardest things a person can do.
Especially when you’ve invested time, money, or identity into something.
The weight of sunk cost is real. So is the cost of staying.
Somewhere, a business idea is quietly draining you.
A role that once felt like purpose now feels like a ceiling.
A version of yourself you’ve outgrown is still running the show.
And the gap between who you are and who you’re becoming keeps getting louder.
Humility isn’t the absence of confidence.
It’s the willingness to let truth do its work, even when it’s inconvenient.
And strategic humility is still strategy.
Pivoting in faith is still forward motion.
The fact that you can feel the pull to change means something in you is still reaching.
That instinct is worth trusting.
Here’s your focus for today:
Audit one stuck area: Identify where you’ve been staying out of pride rather than purpose, and write it down plainly.
Name the real cost: Consider what holding this position has actually cost you emotionally, spiritually, or practically.
Take one concrete step: Make one small move today that signals you’re willing to shift, even if it’s just a conversation or a prayer.
Anchor your day in this truth: “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:14
The next level doesn’t require perfection.
It requires honesty.
Start there.
FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT
"Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." (Galatians 6:2)
Devotion: Jesus met spiritual, emotional, and practical needs. Remember, your help can be a breath of fresh air to a weary soul. Be the kindness they need today.
Action: Offer to babysit or bring a meal for a tired parent or guardian
