It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning. (Lamentations 3:22-23, KJV)

TODAY’S OBJECTIVES
Daily Vitamin: Mercy gets there before shame does.
Inspirational Story: The morning is not pretending yesterday never happened. It is proof God stayed.
Verse of the Day: Lamentations 3:22-23
DAILY VITAMIN
Mercy gets there before shame does.
Shame wants you to wake up and report straight back to yesterday. Mercy meets you at the door first and tells you God has not left the room.
Name one mercy you can see right now.
Refuse to rehearse yesterday before you pray.
Let today begin with thanks, not a verdict.
INSPIRATIONAL STORY
Look Again for Mercy
Elena woke up already disappointed in herself. Before her feet hit the floor, yesterday had started talking.
The sharp reply to her kids.
The unfinished task on her fridge.
The prayer she said she’d pray, but forgot.
She had not even opened the blinds, and shame was already holding court in her mind. Then the coffeemaker clicked on; she heard her son laugh in the hallway, and light crossed the kitchen wall.
Suddenly, she felt light.
Nothing dramatic happened, but mercy rarely announces itself with trumpets. It shows up as breath still in your chest. It shows up as another morning you did not earn.
Lamentations was not written from an easy life. Those words about new mercies came out of grief and rubble. That matters.
Mercy is not denial; it is God meeting you in the true story and refusing to let failure be the only narrator.
So look again, not because yesterday was fine. Look again because God is still here.
The morning did not fix everything.
It did prove you are not abandoned.
Here’s your focus for today:
Find One Mercy: Before you check messages, name one evidence that God is still providing.
Interrupt Shame: When yesterday starts talking, answer with one sentence of thanks.
Pray Before the Verdict: Talk to God before you decide what today means.
Anchor your day in this truth: "His compassions fail not. They are new every morning." (Lamentations 3:22-23)
Mercy did not wait for you to become impressive.
It arrived with the morning.
Look again.

SERMONS TO INSPIRE
Pastor Zak from Calvary Santa Barbara found a way to put himself in the story. No more talking-head videos to post throughout the week.
Now we have the same message, preached in a way that grabs people’s attention and immerses them in the story.
If you’re a pastor looking for new ways to engage people with your sermons, this one’s for you 👇🏽
