Spend ten focused minutes doing that today.
INSPIRATIONAL STORY
Finding Your True North
The cold glass of a compass feels heavy in your palm.
You stand at the edge of a thick forest.
Trees crowd the horizon in every direction.
The wind begins to pick up.
You feel the pressure to choose a path.
But you don’t know which way leads home.
The needle always finds north.
God did not design you to wander. He crafted your soul with a specific magnetic pull.
Your DNA is a map that never existed before. It will never exist again.
You are not a copy of someone else. You are a divine original.
To ignore that design is to stay lost.
Your power lies in your unique internal radar.
Your design is your superpower.
Think back to your childhood. Life felt simpler back then.
You knew exactly what you loved.
A box of crayons felt like a kingdom.
A muddy creek felt like an ocean.
You followed your joy without checking with others.
Then the world got loud.
Expectations piled up like heavy stones.
The noise of social media drowned out your heart.
But that childhood spark is still there.
It sits beneath the layers of “should” and “must.”
Proverbs 20:5 says, “The purposes of a man’s heart are like deep water. But a man who has understanding brings them out.”
It is time to draw it out.
Purpose acts like a filter for your energy.
It tells you what to say “yes” to.
It gives you the strength to say “no.”
When you align with your calling, work changes.
Discipline no longer feels like drudgery.
It feels like progress toward a goal.
Boredom turns into a season of growth.
You are no longer just a survivor.
You are a traveler with a destination.
The next step is waiting.
Maybe you feel behind.
Or you think your time has passed.
But that’s a lie from the shadows.
It is never too late to find north.
Your past failures are just breadcrumbs teaching you how to walk.
Look at your life today.
Identify one thing that makes you feel alive.
It might be small, like gardening or mentoring.
Do that one thing for ten minutes today.
Pay attention to how your heart reacts.
The needle is starting to move.
So, trust the One who built the compass.
