A Well, a Road, and a Loving Voice
Some of the most important faith moments don’t happen in church pews.
They happen on the floor with toys scattered around.
In the car on the way to school.
At bedtime, when the world finally gets quiet.
That’s where the songs from my Kids Bible Songs album, Vol. 2, live.
The images are simple, but the lessons are deep, and they’re forming something lasting in our children.
A Well and a Smile
Some songs begin with ordinary moments: drawing water, sharing food, noticing someone who feels left out.
Children hear about Rebekah offering kindness without knowing what God would do with it.
The picture is gentle and clear: a bucket, a smile, a choice to help.
And tucked inside that image is a powerful truth: kindness matters, even when it feels small.
For parents, it’s a reminder that character is built quietly.
Every time we encourage sharing, honesty, or follow-through, we’re teaching our children how God works through everyday faithfulness.
Waiting Isn’t Wasted
The album doesn’t rush past hard feelings. Hunger. Impatience. Wanting something right now.
Children sing about waiting for what matters.
About not trading something precious for something immediate.
About trusting that good things are worth the wait.
These songs gently teach that waiting isn’t punishment but preparation.
That God is still at work, even when nothing seems to be happening.
Roads, Changes, and New Beginnings
There’s movement throughout the album: packing bags, meeting new people, starting something unfamiliar…
Children hear that change can feel scary, but it doesn’t mean they’re alone. God goes with His people.
New homes, new schools, or new seasons don’t cancel His care.
Fear is acknowledged, but it never gets the final word.
A Name Spoken in Love
One of the most powerful images is God calling someone by name.
Before kids are taught to achieve or perform, they’re hearing this truth: You are known. You belong. You are loved.
That kind of assurance builds a steady foundation, one where identity comes before behavior and love comes before perfection.
Forgiveness That Brings Families Back Together
The journey ends not with success, but with forgiveness.
Brothers are reunited.
Tears turn into hugs.
What was broken is healed.
Children learn that forgiveness isn’t weakness; it’s freedom.
It’s how families stay whole.
It’s how love wins.
These songs are doing more than teaching Bible stories.
They’re shaping imagination, helping children picture a God who is kind, patient, near, and trustworthy.Long after the melodies fade, those pictures remain.
And that’s how faith quietly takes root.
