TODAY’S OBJECTIVES
Daily Vitamin: Small obedience is still obedience.
Inspirational Story: The next step may be unimpressive, but it is not insignificant.
Verse of the Day: Luke 16:10
DAILY VITAMIN
Small obedience is still obedience.
We keep waiting for a dramatic assignment because drama feels easier to respect. But most trust is built in ordinary minutes, with ordinary choices, where only God is watching.
Do the small right thing before noon.
Answer one nudge you have been postponing.
Stop calling obedience insignificant because it is quiet.
INSPIRATIONAL STORY
A Small Yes Still Counts
Marcus wanted a clear sign before he changed anything.
He wanted thunder.
He wanted a door to swing open.
He wanted the kind of moment that would make a good story later.
Instead, he kept noticing the small things:
Apologize first.
Put the phone down.
Finish what you promised.
Nobody would clap for any of it, and that bothered him more than he wanted to admit.
You know that feeling, don’t you? We call small obedience small because it does not make us feel important, but Jesus did not treat little things like leftovers. He said faithfulness in the least reveals faithfulness in much. And that means the tiny yes is not a delay on the way to your real calling, it’s where your real calling is being trained.
God is not wasting the hidden minute; He is measuring whether your trust needs an audience.
So today does not need to be dramatic; it needs to be honest. The next small right thing is enough ground for faith to stand on.
Here’s your focus for today:
Name the Nudge: Write down the small obedience you already know you need to do.
Do It Before Noon: Move while it is still simple, before you negotiate your way out.
Skip the Audience: Let one act of faith stay between you and God today.
Anchor your day in this truth: "He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much." (Luke 16:10)
The small yes is not beneath you.
It may be the place God starts rebuilding your trust.
Do the next thing.
